ABOUT US

Namulenga Development Foundation(NADEF) is registered in the Republic of Malawi on 6th August, 2024 under the Trustees Incorporation Rules (CAP.5:03).
The organization is also registered with CONGOMA.
It is also registered with Non-Governmental Organizations Regulatory Authority (NGORA)

Strategic Objectives

  1. To increase access to safe, inclusive, quality and equitable primary and secondary education for vulnerable learners in Malawi by removing material, health, financial and infrastructural barriers.
  2. To empower youth with relevant skills, experience and opportunities that enhance employability, entrepreneurship and active participation in community development.
  3. To improve household income and economic resilience of women through sustainable asset-based livelihood programs.
  4. To enhance food security, nutrition and environmental protection by promoting climate smart and sustainable agricultural practices.
  5. To strengthen community healthy, safety and resilience by improving access to clean water, sanitation and essential community infrastructure.

Our Objectives
  • To provide entrepreneurship skills and financial assistance in form of loans and or grants to women and youth led initiatives.
  • Providing mentorships and psychosocial- support to youth, school children specifically girls and elderly who are victims of discrimination and abuse.
  • Empowering the school children and youth with knowledge and capacity to help reducing the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation in their communities
